Simmons Bedding Company has unveiled their new Beautyrest Black Collection aimed to provide luxury sleep experience through unique product aesthetics. These are now on display at the Las Vegas Furniture Market where the Comforpedic Collections are also on hand.

The two new collections offer a superior level of performance while building on Simmons’ long-standing tradition of rolling out innovative products that incorporate advanced mattress technologies and design attributes.

Simmons will be exhibiting the new ComforPedic and Beautyrest Black collections from August 2-6, 2010 at its showroom (World Market Center, Building A, Space 525) during the Las Vegas Furniture Market.

Don’t look know but another player from the garments industry has crashed the party of growing list of furniture making companies in the world today. Calvin Klein, more familiarly known for its clothing line has announced that it will launch its own line of furniture, a move that is seen to help the company branch out on other fields outside the fasionable clothing and pants line.

Calvin Klein will introduce two designer furniture lines this spring ‘Calvin Klein’ and ‘The Curator collection by Calvin Klein Home’. “Strategically, the addition of furniture is very significant for us as it further extends the Calvin Klein Home lifestyle product offering,” said Tom Murry, Calvin Klein’s president & chief executive officer.

The Calvin Klein furniture collection will be sold exclusively at Macy’s as of January, and consists of three groups – City, Weekend and Destination – with each group having a specific wood finish of walnut, whitewash and teak, respectively.

Even national chains, like Oreck Vacuums, are offering a 7 percent discount throughout the state. But that will cost them.

This was made possible after recent studies that current consumers in the market are surprisingly looking for this brand.

With that in mind, opportunity knocks and with the flagship wooden furniture carrying the load, Otobi Ltd, is expected to get a lot of attention once it does settle in the home and furniture market.

“We have found that there is a significant portion of consumers who trust Otboi and expect the furniture made from solid wood from us,” said Sabbir Hasan Nasir, chief executive of Otobi Ltd, referring to one of its internal researches conducted in the last two years.

The company still makes furniture based mainly on laminated or melamine board and medium density fibre.
