Home and room designs have apparently been something that many would consider variable as each person has his or her own preference on the type of living pad they would require. If you use the old ways as a gauge to measure how most people would layout their homes, master bedrooms would normally be located at the top of the home if you have a two-storey home.

Today, do not be surprised if this has changed. There are folks who prefer the master bedroom to be on the ground level. Further, these are quite larger than the normal master bedrooms we used to think of. Attribute this to the fact that most people today want more space for better living and apparently much of this is common as we can see when the blueprints are laid out prior to construction of these sites.

Today, master bedrooms are in on the ground floor of home design. Master bedrooms are also bigger than ever before, often coming with sitting areas, spacious walk-in closets or dressing rooms, and even efficiency kitchens.

And by the way, it’s not a master bedroom anymore, but a master suite.
