Valued at $115,000, Sleep Experts has donated 120 mattresses to the Ronald McDonald House, a cause that likewise solicits your help. Aside from this donation, they are welcoming other necessities for the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas families. Other needs that include toiletries, office and kitchen supplies, toys and gift cards are being solicited and can be dropped off at any of its 34 mattress stores through the end of July. Sleep Experts supports the D/FW community through partnerships with more than 20 area nonprofit organizations that nurture and care for children and families in crisis. Through its Rest Assured program, every time a customer buys a new Sleep Experts mattress, the company recycles the old mattress and donates it to one of these organizations. To date, Sleep Experts has provided more than 6,000 beds to the community and donated over $400,000 in recycled mattresses, resulting in over a million nights of sleep for thousands of families in need. The Ronald McDonald House of Dallas has served as a home-away-from-home for more than 26,000 families of seriously ill children who have traveled to Dallas seeking medical treatment in area hospitals. For patients who are lined-up to be admitted this is a given. But for the people who are already lying on the beds, some doctors and physicians seem to have a problem on finding out when they can be discharged to make room for patients who have diagnosed problems. While some hospitals are more than willing to service such patients in need, the thing is that it is the hospital beds that are becoming an issue. This has been spread all over the United States and Europe. Hospitals are standing but the bed capacity to serve patients with lingering illnesses that need the proper attention have been hindering the proper medication due to them. Some medications require bed rest immediately after operations or treatments and without beds to show, patients are forced to look elsewhere.Should hospitals make room for more beds? Well unlike the old days when people hated the idea of being admitted, the issue today is totally different. Perhaps health awareness is something that people should have thought of before so that people can worry less about getting needed bed rest after medical treatment in hospitals and healthcare institutions.

Hospitals have been headlining the news today, a lot of which is their problem of having to serve the proper amount of patients who have to be admitted for various cases of illnesses. While hospital can hold as much as 100 to 150 beds for occupancy, the rate of health issues has surprisingly gone beyond bounds and has become an issue for hospitals who cannot accommodate all patients seeking medical attention. Many would call it funny or perhaps even embarrassing when a hospital is unable to provide a room or suite to patients who need them. Normally, it would be something that would be unthinkable. But the reality is, health is now a growing concern and a lot of people are getting sick by the day. Hence, the need to quickly re-survey and study the various illnesses, mortality rate and the cases needed for medical attention may need to be looked into soon. It is no longer a simple matter and taking for granted the health situation of sick patients by turning them away due to no available hospital beds is something that cannot be used as an excuse.
Are local hospitals overlooking the need for baby maternity beds these days? Among the eye-catching news was this issue coming from the Philadelphia Inquirer regarding a supposed impending crisis for baby maternity beds to accommodate the rising number of child births in its region. It was reported that shortage of maternity beds has resulted in failure to accommodate new baby deliveries. Baby deliveries are a delicate issue and the health sector of Philly must be careful on overlooking this dilemma. Child birth is simply something delicate and the health commissioner would do well by taking a look at affiliated hospitals rather than relying on figures and reports he finds on top of his desk.
These Hi-tech clipboards that connect wirelessly to a central server(assuming) will change the way people work in hospitals. Personally knowing some friends who work as nurses, I am glad this gadget has appeared. (On the downside, it will take extra 2 to 3 hours to train the nurses and probably takes more bank from your wallet overall.) Nonethless, the hi-tech gadget will be able to communicate and manage bed notes at speed of modern society. It is the gadget that could spell the end of the clipboard for medical notes at the end of every hospital bed. Called the mobile clinical assistant, or MCA, the small, hand-held computer wirelessly retrieves patient records, X-rays and other information at the push of a button. via dailymail Hi-tech clipboard spells the end of bed notes
