For homes that are about to be built or are due for a makeover, here is a stairway design you can consider. The Compon Stairs from Marretti offers a combination of wood, glass and steel capped with some lighting as well to make sure you see where you are going and maybe set the mood for a particular area when needed. The overall design offers a simple and clean composition where the added lighting obviously offers a new twist for homes looking for one. The stairs are wing-shaped with each step projecting from the wall with the illusion of floating up step by step. The stairs come in Beech, Oak, Doussie, Wenge, Teak and Iroko finishes among others and can be oiled, bleached, polyurethane varnished, and resin-coated in any color. They were designed by Luke Pearson and Tom Lloyd with the intent of providing people a saner way of pampering people to their heart’s content. The chairs boast of a slim silhouette with an unusual bucket seat which should be something inviting. The pedestal-style base and the see-through back and arm rests make this a great piece for small spaces, creating the illusion of more space and less clutter with its minimalist design.
Wall clocks are great and normally designed in a way to blend in well with a home’s interior. However, the Eclipsion Wall Clock is simply something that any home owner would want, something that comes close to witnessing an eclipse as far as the clock concept is concerned. The wall clock is there to keep track of time, something as you would like any other wall clock. However, it also gives an intricately designed way to measure time through a path that meets at a certain point to give the illusion of a solar eclipse. The clock requires an AA battery to run and measures 270x270X30mm. Via The Eclipsion Wall Clock

Seriously, it may take you more than a glance to figure out why Laurie Beckerman calls this a Butterfly Chair. Regardless, that is where she got the idea for this winged-inspired seat. After some time looking at it, the Butterfly chair does come out with some semblance to the said insect. The chair carries a round shape that comes close to resembling a butterfly complete with its flapping wings. The back support has been molded to look like wings so if you view the seat from the front, it gives the illusion of flight. Read The Butterfly Chair
