If there is one thing that people would not perhaps consider, that would have to be integrating a PC into some furniture. There are some people, especially the geeks who would think of it, but here is one customized accordingly to actually accommodate a modern PC case.

The idea was designed by Jeffrey Stephenson. The black walnut mission-style side table is actually a full-blown PC in disguise, with a standard ATX mid-tower within that’s equipped with an Intel Core i7 CPU, NVIDIA graphics and dual stage temperature-controlled exhaust fans.

For the PC geeks or individuals who can’t seem to live without a PC around them, this may be an ideal blend for their surroundings. Wacky as it may seem, this Mission-style PC casemod will be released this Spring.

The Beam Bed, (so its called) illuminates your bed sorta like sun-rays coming out from the bottom.

I was thinking this might actually be great for movie effects but it may help brighten your room without actually brightening everything.

It’s a pretty simple concept with a big lamp in the center but this could be a great idea for your next DIY bed.  Just don’t blame us if you start a big fire.

Other than the fire hazard, the Beam Bed could be an awesome addition to your bedroom and look more stylish.

The Beam bed amazes with the particular features of its structure, which is inspired by a figure of elementary simplicity and beauty: the sun. An original system of boards forms the base for the mattress, opening up in a sunburst arrangement from a central fulcrum. The way of supporting the mattress is therefore innovative and unorthodox, but decidedly functional and practical. Beam shows its respect for the environment by making itself as small when it is packaged to be transported. Added to this sun element is a component that produces a strongly scenographic effect: light. The insertion of a lighting system for the base, which irradiates beams of light like a sunburst through the sun-rays-like opening, generates a seductive light-shadow effect that makes the atmosphere of the bedroom unique.
