Bailout has been the buzzword these days. It all started from the much publicized financial bailout and has gone as far as housing bailout. So while they are at it, why not a furniture bailout?

People need furniture today and much of them offer installments on credit cards. Though it may not be as serious compared to the financial bailout situation of most companies, why not use the whole thing as a marketing gimmick to help furniture stores boost up sales? People are turning towards furniture loans anyway so why not include it and really help business grow.

These are only minimal since they don’t entail millions of dollars. Also, people are only after their essential needs such as perhaps a bedroom set or living room set. If they cannot shell out the cash in one sitting then why not assist them in installments? Furniture stores are bound to show a smile if this becomes a reality and is a good marketing strategy in their favor as well.

Why not a Furniture Bailout?

Purchasing appliances or furniture that may not be easy to pay for when it comes to cash can be disheartening but it doesn’t follow that we have to pursue them through installments or loans. Such is a study that most credit card and financial lending institutions have considered, placing interest on the premiums to make a business out of it.

Failure to pay would mean penalties and make them all the happier and before you know it, you are burdened with bills to pay and perhaps a higher value for a certain appliance than you had originally bargained for.

Dressing up your home with appliances and new furnishings is everyone’s dreams. However, it also remains that you have to be practical and make sure that you don’t allow your emotions to get the better of you. If you can save up and buy that certain piece by cash then go for it.

But as far as appliance loans, they may look easy on the pocket on a monthly basis. However, look at the actual price of the accumulated amount plus interest and you may be surprised you are paying practically half of the amount to the lending shark.
