“Using extremely quiet dual-fans at the foot of the bed, cool air is pulled in from behind your head and circulated through the soft membrane which also acts as an air-cushion to support you. Best of all, the bed uses extremely low power, costing only $.24 per month if used eight hours a day!”

The Wood-block platform headboard + low platform bed looks warm and modern. The bed is available online from the website West Elm.
“Low platform bed: Clean lines, low profile. For use with a mattress only. Hardwood construction. Assembly required.”

Not a fan of the establishment? Then check out the Indie Bed, which doesn’t really look something out of the norm at a glance. However if you notice the poster bed is pretty short and hence unique.
“Low rise four-poster bed stops way short of tradition. Tropical mindi wood veneer profiles bold in a dark rich stain that reveals organic grain. No head/footboard means it can float like a dream mid-room.”
