Here is a collection of seats named oddly as the FW2010. These stools were designed by Valentin Lollman and were made in a working process characterized by using mortise-and-tendon joints to hazel branches to an oak top. The stools offer a unique-looking size and setup, making use of a mix of sawdust and blue is used to round off the connections between the pieces, resulting is an organic shape where no sharp edges remain. The stools were reportedly burned and treated with wax after which the top was sanded, polished and treated with oil for that smooth finish.

With health becoming increasingly important these days, an alternative to the usual treadmills and weightlifting machines come in the form of this Wave Contour Plus. The fitness device is being claimed to give an hour of results in one 15-minutes session. Designed to stimulate the body’s natural stretch reflex through involuntary muscle contractions, the Contour Plus gives an enhanced whole-body workout for people of all ages. The key benefits from the workout with this unit include weight loss, deep tissue massage, increased strength, circulation, positive effects on bone density and least stress on joints. The unit’s involuntary muscle contraction, combined with a frequency of up to 50 contractions per second, is able to generate approximately 3,000 muscle contractions in one minute, which engages the user in an active vibration exercise. For city dwellers tight on space and students in dorms, the Computer Bed combines a computer desk with a bed. A stylish wooden desk by that folds down to reveal a hidden twin sized bed. Although the bed is useful and practical, it doesn’t look very sturdy. Even with the new “metal bed frame” and “wooden slate foundation”, a well-fed fellow would probably be too much for the joints and come collapsing down all his equipment.
This is a cool computer desk-bed. It is the 2 in 1 combo of bed and desk.

For city dwellers tight on space and students in dorms, the Computer Bed combines a computer desk with a bed. A stylish wooden desk by that folds down to reveal a hidden twin sized bed. <o></o>

Although the bed is useful and practical, it doesn’t look very sturdy. Even with the new “metal bed frame” and “wooden slate foundation”, a well-fed fellow would probably be too much for the joints and come collapsing down all his equipment. <o></o>

The best way to hold together a high-end woodworking projects, whether you’re building a timber-frame home, putting together a trestle table or making a step stool, is with a bit of glue and hand cut joints. It is easier to use mechanical fasteners, like nails and screws, but to add that look of first-class work, with smooth, metal free visible areas, nothing will do the job like a direct joint between parts, bonded with glue. Of course, the type of joint you need depends on a variety of factors, like the nature of the materials, the function of the joint, strength and appearance, available equipment, and your own level of skill. Joinery may be intimidating to the beginner, but, like any other building skill, all it takes is a bit of practice. Woodworking DIY – Joinery Basics
