It took some time before a Facebook memorabilia would finally come out and put you to sleep but at least the idea is now visible. This is with reference to the Facebook bed concept, something that designer Tomislav Zvonaric came up with.

Looking on the side, it does portray the familiar “f” which actually serves as the bed’s frame. The bed comes complete with the mattress for your sane sleep and a storage option (or a desk of sorts) on top (or bottom) for perhaps your laptop or other stuff which you have a hard time distancing from.

Japanese made chairs are expected to come out without the usual chair legs but with some revisions, adding a backrest could spice them up a bit. Such is the result with the Dodo chair, combining the make of a traditional legless “Zaisu” chair and a modern office chair.

The backrest is extended to also function as a working surface which should allow you to get some work with your laptop or any mobile device. This is one functional chair that will look great in contemporary settings. If you want one, it will cost you a whopping $2,039. A bit pricey if you ask me!

The Dodo Chair from Japan

Don’t get confused with the LampTop. It looks like a familiar laptop we see out there today but it is really a lamp in disguise. The LampTop even comes with built-in RAM and a monitor to really throw you off and operates as you would for a standard laptop.

If you wish to turn it on you need to click on the “power”. To turn it off you need to click “ctrl + alt + del”.

Here is a new kind of table design that should attract the MAC geeks. As the Mac Tablet is being wooed to come out soon, what better way to time the unveiling of this Tablet Mac Coffee Table? Besides, we have seen an iPhone Coffee Table so why not a Mac Tablet? It takes its brains from an old iBook G4 laptop built underneath the 37” LCD flat panel screen. It is not a touchscreen LCD and for interface, six tactile control buttons built from cheap six-button joypads were used for navigational purposes. It even comes with a DVD loading slot underneath!

It’s all built into a sturdy steel-framed table with a thick tempered glass tabletop to protect the screen from spills and other damage. Certainly a geeky piece of furniture any techie would want to have in his home or room.

Tablet Mac Coffee Table

Make your own environmental friendly cardboard laptop case and show solidarity to Planet Earth.
First you make design (  Inkscape software- is free), and in this step you can establish design : make a “swellings – pocket” for AC adapter, cable and numerical keypad.

After this be sure you have all materials and tools:
- 1 piece of 3,5mm corrugated cardboard (1600x560mm), or more small pieces , but quite height to not cut components’
- 2 piece of 6mm corrugated cardboard (1600x560mm), or more small pieces … – ” -
- 1 piece of 3mm plywood (70x48mm)
- 1 piece of hemp tape (1500x60mm)
- 8 screws (4x80mm)

- cutter (if you have patience and time ), or a laser cut machine (eeeeee….. wonderful Epilog )
- wood/paper glue, transparent after dry,
- boring mill and 3,5mm wimble/drill

Hey I love this Wogg 24 Bed! It is stylish and modern, but best of all is it offers a comfortable space for reading, working on the laptop, relaxing with a film on DVD, breakfast and etc. It has a swiveling arm attached to the headboard, which can be serving as a night table, or it can be set up as a desk by tilting it further. It also has a pouch at the arm which is ideal for utensils and odds and ends.

Check out this Area Bed, a Scandinavian style furniture. I really like going into a Scandinavian furniture place these days, they got some really cool stuff like sofas that have built-in laptop trays. We will have to find some soon.

Area Home is a NY based company that specializes in bedding and home accessories with a Scandinavian flair. In addition to some terrific bedding patterns, they also make a great bed and matching tables.

Here’s a cool bed with a built-in modem. I don’t know anyone that uses a modem these days, but you could probably modify it to use LAN. Maybe the modem is a DSL modem…

Great news, guys: rather than leaving work at the office, where it belongs, you can now connect to the Internet at all times, thanks to this designer bed which comes with modem already installed. Now, at £5,700, I somehow doubt Ikea will be losing much sleep (sorry) over this one, especially given that a laptop and a wireless network will fulfill exactly the same function, but if you absolutely must have it, The Conran Shop is the place to go.
