At first glance, these furniture pieces seem like destroyed or damaged pieces but you may be surprised to note that they were intentionally designed that way. These were designed by French designer Vincent Dubourg, looking like a lot that just came out of a place that got bombed.

For the people in need of fabricated or modified accessibility in their homes, here is an idea. Apparently some folks over in London commissioned some designers to provide a better access point over the old ladder. The product was a permanent staircase that carries a modern design pitch.

The designers made use of welded and painted steel, a steel post and toughened glass to come up with the Loft Access London. Some minor modifications had to be done of course but in the end, the result was a more ideal finish, carrying modern interior designing looks that we see in common day made homes or living spaces.

A fine and stylish Ree Chair made entirely of old PS2 game console casing.

So if you are wondering where some of the dead PS2 game consoles are going, at least you know that you may be sitting on them through new and stylish furniture in the market today.

“The simple idea behind the Reee chair is to produce a recycled furniture product in the UK that has style, function and durability but does not compromise its environmental credentials – so our customers don’t have to compromise theirs,” said Alex Whitney, Pli’s design manager in a news release.

“We receive the supply direct, from the original manufacturer through a dedicated re-processor to our injection-moulder in London,” said Pli’s Director, Christopher Pett in an email interview with The Able Gamer, “so there is no other material mixed in with the original plastic.”
