I personally wouldn’t buy it, because if the bed comes fine, it’s probably going to be fine for a very long time anyway. Unless, your activities on the bed, are terribly rough, which I would suggest the recommended warranty time.

Check out some of the the specs of this bed:

• The side stitching of the mattress increases stability.
• The horsehair in the Vividus is hand flailed. It makes sure that the bed is going to maintain its comfort and shape for a long time.
• The mattress is built up by layers of horsehair and cotton and wool. It is sewn together to keep the shape for many years to come.

I don’t know if that sounds like it’s worth $50,000 but if Tom Cruise uses it, it must be pretty good.
