Alessandro Beda’s The Untitled Chair
0 Comments Published by brian yalung August 12th, 2008 in Chairs, Cushions, Lounge. In perhaps what best describes this yet to be named chair conceptualized by Alessandro Beda, here is an innovative way of putting a unique lounge chair to use. But to get it done, Beda will need 100 pieces of shock absorbers to make it work.

The intent is to come up with a lounge chair similar to the LC2 Petit Comfort by Le Corbusier. If all goes well, this is something that will really be interesting. Hopefully though the shock absorbers to be used maintain the same height since no one wants to sit on a bumpy chair to gain comfort.

The Blur Lounge Chair can go both indoors or outdoors. I see it more as patio furniture but as I said it can work indoors too. The wooden slats give it an unique look and one can chose from walnut veneer with a grey powder-coated frame, or graphite-on-oak finish with a dark and rich satin black frame.

Once summer time comes, it is practically automatic to find most people wanting to spend more time outdoors in their patio. One thing they will always look for would be the best seats out the house and that is where furniture such as the Travolta Lounge Chair comes into play.
Made of Teak, a preferred material for outdoor furniture due to its weather-resistant materials, the Travolta Lounge Chair is certainly bound to be a hot commodity this coming summer. It is available from Crate and Barrel at $729.
Choosing new patio furniture may be a matter of finding the most Earth-friendly material, the style that suits your surroundings and the cost that fits your budget — or some combination thereof. Here are some of your choices.
Teak, a tropical hardwood, has been the material of choice for ships and weather-resistant outdoor furniture for centuries — and that’s just its modern history. Teak outdoor furniture lasts a long time and weathers to a soft gray, unless oiled to keep it brown.

Ice Lounge Chair is for ice cream eating or for simply your most authentic designer’s chair experience.
This might go well with a hanging LCD and a wireless keyboard for some serious gaming experience.
This piece of furniture was created by Claudio Colucci for a a Swiss ice cream manufacturer. Claudio’s objective was to create a chair that would enhance a person’s experience while eating ice cream. The lounge also contains an in-built music system that allows connoisseurs to enjoy their fav tunes along with the sugary delights as well as the benefits of Chromotherapy.

The Splash Lounge Chair makes quite a splash with its funky design and cool form factor. Designed by Michael Wendel, the chair has been sculpted at 1/8th scale using Sculpey clay. Kudos to Wendel for creating something so unique and fun.
