The HappyWakeUp smart alarm clock is a mobile application for S60 handsets. One has to keep their mobiles under their pillow for the application to work which uses statistical analysis to decide on your sleep rhythms, and will wake you gently at your body’s ‘almost awake’ state.

Ok here is something neat from Justin Wickett. With the proper connections, a mobile phone can send a simple text message to a computer and turn off the lights. Well, it’s an innovative way of trying to innovate your light controls but the fact remains that the idea is really something to consider.
