Apparently this is the main reason why the furniture design collection of Mieke Meijer seems different from traditional furnishings one would consider for homes, one supposedly taking the shape of industrial-inspired molds.

Thanks to her continued fascinataion, Meijer has created a smaller scale of industrial buildings by playing with the volume to which they were created to produce neat interior object solutions that carry some architectural feel to go with some needed functionality at that.
