Darko Markovic offers a suitable chair for households with the futuristic looking Hodie Chair. This chair was meant to provide better sitting options, carrying a minimalistic design with a wide, surefooted stance.

On a side note, this chair does have a certain galactic pitch. It even comes with a three point seatbelt which is sold separately. No word on what materials are used but from the looks of the image above, it seems like an overglorified mono block chair that is juiced up with colors and design.

Thanks to a different type of design, they are made to look like wooden chairs but are actually hard plastic which homes can use since they are more affordable and lighter to move around.

Baas’ interpretation comes in the form of hand-carved elm replicas of plastic mass-produced furniture, highlighting the contrast between treasured Chinese handcraft and contemporary, mass-produced and mass consumed. As with all Baas’ work the unlikely aesthetic is humorous but thought-provoking rather than gratuitous.

We often see then in events such as parties or even take the place of the usual dining chairs today. But while their main purpose of providing seating is there, you can tweak it a bit to come up with a one of a kind design as well.
