Pascal Mourgue has designed the Patchwork bed from Ligne Roset. What makes the bed interesting is that designer has given  an asymmetrical appearance by giving it one narrow (6”) and one wide (12”) side panel. These may be positioned to the right or left when viewed from the foot of the bed, with the position of the wide side panel determining whether the bed is designated ‘left’ or ‘right’.

In the near future, more and more furniture may be made from factory waste such as this one. Why waste at all?

Wood waste and off-cuts were collected from factories in Denmark, this collection is made entirely out of the factory waste collected. The pieces were put together to form a wood patchwork before they were made into; a chair, a book box and a series of 12 lamps.
