A Fleece Bed for the Dogs!

One of the most economic ways for backpackers to travel in Japan is to sleep in a capsule hotel. It cost only 4,000 yen which is around US$32. Each individual sleeps in a coffin-like capsule, which contains a bed and a TV. Bathrooms? Share one! After all, all you need is a place to sleep!

This kind of capsule hotels was formally men only. But as it grows more popular, now there are areas open for women only.

Don’t worry about getting separated with your girlfriend, there are plenty more hotels for other purposes in Japan.

Take a look at one of the capsule inn. I’d visit Akihabara if I got the chance to visit Japan. It’s a place full of gadgets and techie stuffs.

Air beds may have its shortfalls but convenience and comfort is something worth checking out. It is not a pure publicity stunt. It is more inclined towards providing and alternative, if not a replaceable form of providing convenience for people looking for a proper place to sleep and unwind.

Many would feel that air beds would be limited towards outdoor activities such as camping or roughing it expeditions. But for some people, using these inflatable air beds at home is another form of allowing rest to another extent.

The truth of the matter is that people are looking for alternatives today. It just so happens that air beds are slowly being associated with the new way of resting today.

Air Beds Replacing the Foam Beds?
