Appealing primary colors are usually the way to go. Embarking on sophisticated color styles may not usually be the case since appreciation for such color combination in rooms would normally not be immediately worth the effort. Of course, there will always be the specialist interior designers that can help pave the way. But if parents can do it by themselves, then by all means go for it. It will be more cost-efficient that way.
