A perfect Sofa should not only be able to adjust the guest but also be plush and comfy. The DS 164 by Hugo de Ruite fits the bill with its elegance and expressive, sculptured lines. The playful design of the DS 164 breaks away from the mundane and also exudes warmth.

The Multy Sofabed has been designed for everyday use but that doesn’t mean that it’s boring. The modern sofa bed has a simple mechanism and slatted base, which makes the transformation from sofa to bed easy. It can be used as a sofa, as a chaise longue with the seat pulled forward, & as a bed.

Nomade Express Sofabed

I love the Nomade Express not only for its design but also for its cool name. The Sofa bed uses molded aluminum feet & traditional, mattress-style buttoned cushions, which gives it an almost retro vibe.
One can turn the mattress over to sleep on the underside which is covered in an exclusive 100% cotton ticking, which has been anti-bacterially and fungicidally-treated & may be unzipped and removed for cleaning. Lumbar cushion covers are buttoned, & hold the pillows for the bed.

Paola Navone is the designer behind the simplistic yet elegant Otto 109 Sofa. The sofa has a plywood frame with pressed bamboo-lamination and I love the stylish arm-rests. The seat and back have been upholstered with polyurethane foams.

Isamu Noguchi designed the Noguchi sofa in 1946, which makes it an instant classic. However the design is anything but old-fashioned. Only a few Freeform Sofas and Ottomans were produced around 1950 and now the Vitra Design Museum, authorized by the Isamu Noguchi Foundation, is offering the sofa in its original form.
