Teens with Personal TVs Sleep Less

According to  Prof. Yael Letzer, Dr. Tamar Shohat and Prof. Orna Chishinsky of the Jezreel Valley College in Israel, putting a television in a teens room is not a great idea. A study  conducted on 444 middle-school pupils proved that those with personal televisions’ slept less and ate more than those without.

Gadgets ruining sleep

Teens who hardly ever get more than 6 or 7 hours of sleep a night, might need to do a little bedroom readjustment. Apparently, it seems that electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, computers and televisions, are a major reason to the lack of sleep among teenagers. As such, the isolation of these devices from a teen’s bedroom would be quite integral to the regulation of a teenager’s sleep pattern.
