British design company Linley presents another luxurious writing desk called the Monte Carlo Casino Writing Desk. It pays tribute to one of Monaco’s notable landmarks, the Monte Carlo Casino which was built and opened back in 1856.

This is a bespoke cabinet which features the building itself along with several stylized archways on both sides. The main body is finished with American walnut, the inlays are made of Santos rosewood and sycamore. The surface is topped with a dark red leather.

The marquetry detailing in various veneers shows the windows, columns, galleries and the balusters of the casino. There is a marquetry depiction of the Monegasque flag in red sycamore and holly underneath the domed lid of the architectural box. The rooftop has six handmade figurines in buffalo horn. It costs around $100,000.
