The new Eco Normal cycle on the Duet Resource Saver dryer offers a precise set of heat and moisture detection sensors, which improve dryer energy usage by 40 percent when used together – saving $837 in energy and water savings over the first five years of use.

For up to six hours after the wash cycle ends, the industry first TumbleFresh feature on the new Duet washer tumbles clean clothes periodically. In doing so, clothes are loosened and freshened to reduce the potential for odor and wrinkles to set-in, as compared to clothes left stagnant for the same period of time. The washer also features a NightQuiet mode which even further reduces machine related sound when quiet is absolutely necessary – like during children’s naptime.

Now here is something that most home bodies will find handy. Samsung has unveiled its new WF419 high efficiency front load Vibration Reduction Technology (VRT) steam washer. As the most efficient front load full size washer in its class, the ENERGY STAR qualified WF419 provides advanced energy savings, water conservation and the option to wash and sanitize clothes in cold water for even more efficient operation.

The new Samsung WF419 front load washer goes beyond the ENERGY STAR qualifications and provides increased energy and water savings. Operating at 109 kWh/year, the low power consumption coupled with the large capacity of 4.3 cu. ft., makes the WF419 truly energy-efficient. It rates 127 percent better than federal energy standards, providing savings and reducing the total number of loads that consumers have to run. In addition, the WF419 provides increased water conservation. Consumers will save money by using up to 70 percent less water than comparable top-loading washing machines.
