If you have a modern-designed home, here is a coffee table that may just interest you. This is the Acoustable Coffee Table, a high-tech coffee tablet that comes with a built-in sound system. The table was designed by Jerome Spriet and Wolfgang Bregentzer which combines a coffee tablet and a sound system into one piece.

The coffee table offers an easy way to integrate music more seamlessly into daily life. Positioned between the table’s base and top surface is the sound system that includes Teac speakers, woofer and stereo amplifier with USB and iPod connection ports. There are USB adaptors within the table that can be extended to hook into PCs, iPods and phones.

For pricing it seems that you have to touch base with the designers for this one.

The Acoustable Coffee Table

This chair holds a pretty interesting design, but I’m not sure if you’ll be able to sit on it. It does seem pretty peculiar to look on a speaker. The designer, Jacob Matthew, hasn’t actually decided to produce this speaker yet though. It features calcium carbonate poly coned woofer seated in the middle of the chair, and allows you to experience the musical speaker while dining, watching tv, reading or just about anything you could use your chair on.
