Make Your Own Home Furniture Polish

by brian yalung on Tuesday, December 30th, 2008

For people who hate the smell or are dissatisfied with the performance of their cleaning aids for polishing their furniture, you may want to try making your own. Now you may not love the smell but then again, if you take out the scent in most furniture polishers, then you would most likely have the same thing.

Better yet, by making your own furniture polish, you are not only saving yourself the problem of having to buy every now and then but are also putting a stop with regards to the endorsement of harmful chemicals that these products normally provide.

Here is a sample on how you can make your own furniture polish:

Ingredients:

  • out of 2 parts olive oil
  • one part lemon juice
  • olive pomace oil.
  • Just put the mixture in an old washed out spray bottle and used a microfiber cloth. You can buy essential oils to improve the odor.
