Propane Tanks as chairs? Well with some minor modifications, they could be neat furnishings as well, given the right tweaks and turns.
And such was done by Colin Selig, taking in old propane tanks and worked on them right away using some welding and other modifications.
The result was a neat looking bench which was showcased at the International Contemporary Furniture Festival in New York.
The resulting bench was cut right from the tank with the aid of templates that were carefully measured out and used for cutting the right amount of metal from the tank.
Capping it off was a nice paint job to hide the rusted surfaces from the original make, producing an inviting new bench that surely deserves a place inside or outside homes.
