As far as sleeping is concerned, anyone in his right mind would want to lie down in a bed that can really hit the spot. Beds and mattresses are a rampant demand today since putting bed rest to its maximum capacity is something that many can get at least as a consolation.

Today, people fail to realize the essence of good sleep. Being active and on the go today is a need, especially if you talk about having to survive in a financially deprived world already. While you may be earning a lot, it would be best to save some for a good bed. Such is the clamor that Benson for beds is pushing for and here are a few reasons why you should do so:

  • Research from the University of Chicago found skipping beauty sleep will make you old. Sleeping for four hours a night for less than a week hits the body’s ability to process and store carbohydrates and regulate hormone levels. These changes mimic many of the hallmarks of advanced ageing.
  • Sleep is slimming. Moisture loss while sleeping adds up to as much as a half pint from the average adult; more in hot weather or during illness. A lot of that moisture ends up in the mattress – hence the need to change your mattress every eight to ten years.
