
Stanley Furniture has reportedly recalled 1,200 made cribs due to entrapment issues for babies due to their design. The crib manufactured from Slovenia was reportedly offered for sale in various department stores since March 2006. The cribs are said to fail the federal safety standards along with the mattress support being in the middle is said to be too wide and may cause infant injuries.
The U.S. Consumer and Product Safety Commission said no incidents or injuries have been reported for the cribs.
The cribs were manufactured in Slovenia and were sold at department and furniture stores from March 2006 through December 2007 for about $1,100. They have the model number 353-14-220.
The CPSC said consumers should immediately stop using the crib in the middle
