“Kahva” Coffee Maker

I don’t know about you but to face the daily grind, I need at least a great cup of coffee right out of my to kick start the morning. Hence I loved the “Kahva” Coffee Maker. Technically Kahva is a Kashmiri tea drink, which is usually taken after a heavy meal for digestion. But that’s westernization for you!
However designer Lina Fischer gives it her own “flavor” by making the coffee maker hourglass shape.
How to use it:
1. Fill the double-coated glass container with water and put the desired amount of coffee into the upper brewing unit.
2. Bring the water to boil by using the induction powered table station or any other heating device.
3. Watch the hot water flowing upwards into the brewing unit due to the rising air-pressure. Listen to the bubbling noise and smell the aroma of coffee. Let it brew for a few minutes.
4. Switch of the heating device and watch the brewed coffee emerge in the glass container, quickly drawn back through a filter by a vacuum witch has been created by the cooling.
5. Open Kahva by turning the grip and pour some fully aromatic, mocha-style coffee directly into your cup. Enjoy!

Going to get this for my mum. She loves coffee making machines. Interesting post!
Hey! I got a similar coffe maker online recently. It is a Bodum Coffee Maker: dealstudio.com/searchdeals.php?deal_id=86645&ru=279 , it works very well. Starting from the top, the included gold plated titanium filter is the best of its type I have seen. And the gold filter lets all of the coffee’s flavorful oils pass through while trapping the grounds. I love it very much. Huh!
WOW! I have never seen that coffee maker before, and I’ve definitely seen my share of brewers!!
I’ll just have to get one and try it out…
(yes, I’m a little obsessed with coffee!)
