The Catena Wall Clock

As we see various means of telling the time, here is one that makes use of an old bicycle chain to tell the time. Different and of course something to get used to, this Catena wall clock should take some time before one could get use to telling what the actual time really is. It is designed by Andreas Dober of Germany’s Anthologie Quartett.

Clock numbers are placed on the side of the chains which rotate on the gear. Priced at $2,300, this isn’t exactly the time you would want if you want the actual time. It only tells you the hours and leaves the minutes and seconds up to you for guessing. You can get one of these clocks at Unica Home.
