Refurbish Old Furniture Now Buy Later
0 Comments Published by brian yalung August 29th, 2008 in BED Furniture, Home Appliances, Home Designs, Sofa Bed, sofas and futons. If there is one thing economical that you can do as far as furniture preference and buying is concerned, it is making do with old furniture and refurbishing or even re-upholster them to give back that old look and comfort. These days there are a lot of people who specialize in this practice and you may be surprised at the savings you can get from it in the process.

“We collect furniture from people’s homes or workplace and strip it back to the basic frame. We re-upholster, repair, re-polish and completely transform furniture to sometimes better than the original.
“We can also modify furniture and will make bespoke new soft furnishings and sofas to order.”
So if you still have that old furniture lying around, have someone look at it. Outside that of sentimental value, it may be something better than buying new and costly furniture in the market today.

Domain Low Profile Platform Bed
1 Comment Published by HomeAndBedroom August 28th, 2008 in BED Furniture, BED Technology, Bed Designs, Bedroom.
You’re looking for something simple, yet striking, in your bedroom. You know what you want, but you can’t seem to find exactly what you’re looking for. That makes sense. Most people know what they want in their bedroom, and those who are looking for something different than the regular look often have a hard time finding the bed that suits their specific style. If you’re looking for something very simple, yet very powerful at the same time, the Domain Low Profile Platform Bed may be the platform bed that is the style for you.
The Domain Low Profile Platform Bed is a solid wood frame which has been designed with a minimalistic type of style in mind. This bed can fit into almost any bedroom, as it has a very shallow depth, meaning that it can go almost flush up against any wall. This is a phenomenal deal for people who have smaller bedrooms and need to cultivate as much space as they possibly can in their bedroom. The horizontal rectangular open slats provide some style to the simple design. Unlike many other platform beds, this one has center support legs, which makes it much safer for couples or those people who are concerned that their platform bed will not hold up very well.
This platform bed is the product of Lifestyle Solutions Furniture and is available in a Cherry or Cappuccino finish. It can be purchased in either full, queen, king, or California king sizes, and is very easy to assemble out of the box. You can pair this modern platform bed with your existing furniture, or for a whole new look, go with the 234, 334, or 500 Series that is also provided by Lifestyle Solutions Furniture.

Carnigan Bed

Nothing, absolutely nothing, is more decadent when it comes to bedroom furniture than a leather bed. Long has it been the subject of awe and longing, leather beds have only recently become affordable for almost everyone. Back in the 80’s and before, a leather bed meant that you were a “player”, and that you were trying to be as masculine as possible. Now, however, having a leather bed simply means that you enjoy the finer things in life, and that you love the feel and the look of beautiful, supple leather.
The Carnigan Bed is a whole new level of leather beds. This is one bed that can be enjoyed by both men and by women, and is absolutely gorgeous. The headboard of the bed has a slight camelback design, with the leather designed in a quilted manner. The footboard is designed as the polar opposite and has a slight crescent shape to it, while still maintaining the quilted design that makes the top of the bed look absolutely amazing. This bed even has side rails on it, creating a very suave look indeed, no matter what types of fabric you pair it with. The perfect definition of comfortable bedroom furniture, it’s a must have in your room.
Created by Hillsdale Furniture, the Carnigan Bed is designed for anyone who loves the feel of genuine leather. When paired with light colored fabrics and pillows, you can create a very soft look to your room. Add some darker sheets and pillows, and you’ve got earth tones going on that can make the room feel very warm and rich indeed. This leather bed is easily affordable, and is available in both king and queen sizes, which makes it ideal master bedroom furniture. It is easy to put together, and it would be a great gift for newlyweds, as there is something both members of the couple can enjoy about it!
