Puzzle clock
1 Comment Published by colbert April 16th, 2008 in Alarm Clock, BED Contemporary, BED FUN, Bed Designs. The alarm is ringing, and you want to shut it off. Hold on a second, with this alarm clock, it won’t put it’s ringing to a rest until, you solve the puzzle on top of it. Yes, you’ll be picking up different puzzles on your table and start putting them together cause you just can’t bear the sound. While you’re at it, you’re likely to be awake.

Kuku alarm clock
1 Comment Published by colbert April 16th, 2008 in Alarm Clock, BED Accesorries, BED Contemporary, BED FUN, Bed Designs. This cute little alarm clock here is the Kuku Alarm Clock. If you want to get up and out of bed in an interesting way, well this is the bed for you. And how would that be possible? Well, it’ll chirp as a sign of alarming, and it lays eggs while doing it!! It won’t stop chirping until you pick up all the eggs the clock had “laid” and put it into the basket. It’s good as it provides mild brain exercises in the morning.

Beautiful Times Clock

Who knew telling time (or displaying in this case) could be so much if fun! Designer Yasser Ballemans is quite picky when it comes to time and hence the Beautiful Times Clock which shows only elected Beautiful Times.
So what exactly is defined as “Beautiful Time” by Yasser? Well by that he means digits which are mirroring (22:55), repeating (7:07), up- or countdown (12:34 or 5:43) and turning around (6:09). he clock is synchronized with a normal clock and I wonder where I can get one.

The Sonic Alert Super Shaker Bed Vibrator

The Bed Vibrator conjured all sorts of horrific images however as my mum says get your mind of the gutter! The Sonic Alert Super Shaker Bed Vibrator is actually an alarm clock that shakes the whole bed to wake you from deep slumber.
The Super Shaker SS 120V is designed to be plugged into the electrical outlet on any of the Sonic Alert signalers or remote receivers. The SS 120V uses a UL listed transformer to reduce the 120 volt output of the Sonic Alert signalers to a safe 12 volts that is used in the vibrator.

German designer Daniel Jarr is the man behind the beautiful and elegant untitled alarm clock concept. The clock is a great combination of style and functionality and according to Jarr he clock’s alarm would be set by pressing down on the right hand side of the clock and the left side has the snooze function. The clock displays time in both digital and analogue and analogue clock’s frame lights up in low lighting conditions.

It’s not that we’ve gotten lazy as a species, far from it! We’re more productive now than we’ve ever been, but with more and more work to do, we have to create time by cutting down on late night raids on Molten Core, ordering fast-food, talking on the phone while driving… The only time we have left is spent sleeping. Now you have to stay up late and get up early in an effort to get more done.
